Gov. Ganduje reshuffles cabinet.

Kano state governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has appointed a new commissioner and redeploy 3 others to different ministries.

A statement issued by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar and made available to the media said the reshuffling of the cabinet which takes effect immediately happened after the newly inaugurated commissioner Idris Garba Unguwa Rimi took the Oath of Office at the council meeting yesterday.

According to the statement, Rimi is taking over the ministry of works and infratsucture whose erstwhile commissioner Muazu Magaji was sacked for allegedly celebrated the death of Abba Kyari, the late Chief of Staff to the President.

However Mahmud Muhammad Dantsatsi was redeployed from the Ministry of Commerce to the Ministry of Housing and Transport while Barrister M.A. Lawan was moved from Misnistry of Housing and Transport to Ministry of Justice.

The former commissioner of Justice Barrister Ibrahim Mukhtar will now head the Ministry of Commerce.
