Ronaldo crowned Serie A best player

Cristiano Ronaldo CR7, was not left with a sad night yesterday as he was awarded another award in Italy.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo admits Serie A is “a very difficult League” after being officially crowned the best player of last season.

This award is to recognize his undisputable impact on his debut Serie A season.

Having scored 21 Serie A goals and 7 assists, no other player was found more worthy than the former.

Ronaldo was expected to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday evening, having secured a podium finish, but he instead headed to Milan for the Gran Gala del Calcio.

The 34-year-old has already started this season but not on the expected level but has promised to work harder to be at his best and

try to win more trophies and awards at the club, including the UEFA Champions league.




He also acknowledged and appreciated the team work of his teammates and the sense of administration of the board.

“I will try to speak Italian. I am proud to be considered the best striker in Italy,” he.

“I thank my teammates, the players who voted for me. After two years in Italy, I can say it is a very difficult League.

“I thank everyone for voting for me and hope next year will be the same.”

He wasn’t the only Juventus FC player to be recognized as, players like Miralem Pjanic and Leonardo Bonucci were awarded as the best in there different positions.

They got the award as one  of the Best midfielders and the best defenders in Serie A.

Cristiano Ronaldo CR7 didn’t only win the award of the best forward of the league but also the Most Valuable Player (MVP)  of the previous season.

That made it a total of two awards on that night.

Some fans have feared of CR7’s supposed period of decline but I, even the press can still spot that zeal of a youngster that longs for a debut he has..

He is ready and willing to break boundaries. Let’s watch him as he does.
