Tinubu Built Lagos From Nothing, Peter Obi Was Building On My Foundation – Chris Ngige

Chris Ngige, the current minister of labour and employment has stated that Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos state built Lagos from nothing while Peter Obi was building on the foundation he laid as the governor of Anambra state.

He made this statement in an interview with Channels Tv in the Friday edition of Politic today

His words: “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu came to Lagos when there was nothing, everything scattered I was leaving in Lagos so I can tell you. He did what he was supposed to do, reformed the financial system, and built a solid foundation, a road map for successors.”

When asked if he was proud of Peter obi tenure as governor of Anambra state, he said the following

“Yes, he was building on my foundation, even though he disagree with me on infrastructure, for the first tenure, Peter Obi didn’t do any infrastructure, but he realized that was a grievous mistake when we met in the ballot in 2010, and the senatorial election in my district”
