Director general of the labour party’s presidential campaign council, Doyin Okupe has disclosed that they didn’t get the final permit for the landing of the helicopter of their principals, Peter Obi and Datti Yusuf Ahmed until the morning of the campaign rally in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
According to Doyin Okupe, not obtaining the final landing permit in a good time also contributed to the turn out of people at the campaign rally which was not fully satisfactory.
According to Doyin Okupe, he got to realise once again that politics is a game and the ruling party in Nasarawa state had to play the game.
In his words, Doyin Okupe stated “we didn’t final permit for the landing of the helicopter of our principals until the morning of the campaign rally”.
Doyin Okupe stated this during an interview between the 10th and 11th minute when he was responding to questions on the outcome of the campaign rally in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
